Back to the preparation of the upcoming concert tour 2023. I am grateful to have such peaceful and beautiful surroundings in my life. Always get inspired by this view of Fuxian Lake, it is been helpful for recovering my health and meditation in my daily life by living next to it.
The best practice spot which I have ever been, love to play Bach in the nature next to this incredible breathtaking view by the lake.
"Mountain’s Song" is an accordion solo piece I composed and premiered at the Newport Classical in July 2024. It's a musical reflection of my journey to Kawagarbo, a sacred mountain in the Yunnan Province of China, near Tibet. This composition was inspired by the profound impact the mountain had on my life.
I started this journey during a difficult time in my life, dealing with illness and feeling stuck. Visiting Kawagarbo symbolized my search for renewal and spiritual awakening.
During my visit to the village at the base of the mountain, I was moved by the unwavering faith and reverence of the local Buddhist community towards Kawagarbo, which they see as a divine entity.
Informed by conversations with the villagers and inspired by the rich local folklore, "Mountain’s Song" aims to capture the essence of this sacred mountain and invites the listeners to embark on their own spiritual journey.
